I have started to read Charles Darwins book, On the Origin of the Species. It is a bit hard going but is quite interesting. He introduced the idea of evolution to the world and caused a bit of controversy in his time. He lived from 12 February 1809 – 19 April 1882 and was a naturist. Even though he wrote the book years ago his ideas are still very much valued today.
Tell me what are you reading and why? Was it worth it? Did you et stuck in and read it in one day? Did you keep going back to it and it was hard work? Would you recommend it and who to?
I am reading Peter Pan. I think it is really awesome because it has heaps of adventures. I think you should read it if you like adventures and scary bits.
ReplyDeleteMy dad is reading me Moomin Books. I like them because they have lots of adventures but when there are scary bits I hide. I hide under the blankets and I hide other places to. Daddy is good at reading Moomintroll. There are little kid moomintrolls, mamma moomontrolls and poppa moomintrolls and other scary animals. You should read it if you like adventures and you don't mind scary bits.
ReplyDeleteI am reading the book the Hobbit, it's quite a funny book and also adventurous at the same time. If you like adventure you will love this.

Hi Liam. I have read The Hobbit. It is definately a good adveture story. You might like it if you like fantasy also. I think that it is being made into a movie with Peter Jackson pretty soon. Maybe you could read The Lord of the Rings next?
