Bridge building and design
The year 6 students are looking at bridge structures from a round the world.
The children were given a $100 budget and 30 minutes to build a paper bridge that would support a (toy) double decker bus as it passed over a 35cm gap. The children were only allowed to purchase resources from Ms Lunjevich'S shop, $10 per piece of official building paper, $10 per 10cm cellotape and $5 for 4 paperclips. We had a range of succuesses, some were beautiful but not very strong. Everyone was focus and interested.

Our bridge won. It was the only bridge to be made of a highly crinkled design.
